Capital Enterprise is a not-for-profit membership group for organisations that deliver enterprise support in London, Europe’s largest cluster of Tech start-ups. Capital Enterprise 70+ members include universities, colleges and business schools (including the likes of UCL & London Business School), accelerators and incubators (including Seedcamp, Start-up Bootcamp and Tech Stars) and investors and funders (including the likes of Crowdcube, LBAN and, F6s). Capital Enterprise represents its members on a number of regional bodies (such as the London Local Enterprise Partnership) and national government departments and also manages and runs a number of programmes that support the formation, launch and growth of scalable ICT enabled start-ups. Capital Enterprise presently leads and manages a number of public-private sector funded programmes and initiatives including the £3.8m Capital’s Accelerator Programme, the £75m London Co-Investment Fund and the Microsoft Ventures sponsored Capital List initiative that prepares and then introduces ICT start-ups to Europe’s largest cluster of seed and series A investors. Capital Enterprise is in need of good quality potentially scalable ICT start-ups from anywhere in Europe to either fund itself or introduce to investors. To this end it is prepared to use its good offices, its insider knowledge and connections to develop and then execute a world class entrepreneur education and mentor programme for Europe’s next generation of ICT entrepreneurs.
