Jonas Almgren - CEO Artfinder
Jonas Almgren is a Swedish entrepreneur with a passion for art and running. After 15 years in Silicon Valley and 8 years in New York, he is back in Europe, enduring the daily commute between Cambridge and London. In Silicon Valley he helped scale companies such as Vantive and Epiphany through early stages to IPO. He then started and sold an online yellow pages company, before shifting gears and diving head first into the online art market. In 2010, he cofounded the VIP Art Fair in New York, and since late 2012 he served as CEO of London based Artfinder.
Bernadine Brรถcker - CEO Vastari
Bernadine is the founder and CEO of Vastari, the Exhibition Connection. Vastari connects private collectors of art with museums curators for exhibitions, using a private and non-partisan interface. Prior to Vastari, she was a founding team member of Trinity House in London, selling Impressionist and Modern paintings. She has a joint Master's degree from the University of Glasgow and Christie's Education and a Bachelor's from Parsons School for Design.
Marcos Steverlynck - Co-founder Riseart
Marcos Steverlyck co-founded Rise Art (www.riseart.com), the online platform that provides an expertly hand-picked selection of contemporary art from emerging artists and established galleries, to buy or rent, risk-free. Marcos previously worked at Google, where he most recently managed European partnerships for Google's Android operating system, and before that worked for a VC fund and Siebel Systems. Marcos is originally from Argentina, and is the mastermind behind Rise Art's website, products and technology. He has a passion for technology, enjoys visiting gallery openings, is an aspiring art collector and plays drums in his spare time. He holds an MSc in Engineering and an MBA from London Business School.
David Zokhrabyan - CEO and Co-Founder at ArtHome.London and Gitoon
David Zokhrabyan is CEO and Co-Founder at ArtHome.London and Gitoon. ArtHome.London is a new monthly art replacement service that allows people to enjoy different art in their homes. Gitoon is a curative publishing platform that accepts art submissions from anyone and guarantees feedback to every contributor, but publishes only the best. He holds a Msc from the London School of Economics in International Political Economy and a BA from the Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) in International Relations.
