Silicon Valley + EU Roadshow

The Silicon Valley + EU Roadshow trip is an extraordinary opportunity that WELCOME project provides to startups willing to pack up and travel to meet investors, corporates and technology key players in Silicon Valley and in the five projects ecosystems.

Two startups from Berlin, Dublin, Milan and Madrid&Salamanca, for a total of eight, will be selected to spend a three-weeks immersion period at MindTheBridge Startup School in San Francisco where they will learn how to present their business to investors and will get the contacts and knowledge for a soft-landing in Silicon Valley.

Once back, the 8 will embark in a two-week Pan-European tour that will enable them to explore the above-mentioned ecosystems and to get exposure to investors, business angels, corporates and medias.

These activities will be at no cost to entrepreneurs; the selected startups will receive a full waiver of the Silicon Valley School tuition for one founder, and a 50% discount for each additional co-founder, while travel & accommodation expenses for the Silicon Valley trip (1 founder per startup) and the European roadshow (2 cofounders per startup) will be covered by Welcome.

WHO CAN APPLY

We are looking for all kind of tech-focused, visionary and high-profile entrepreneurs that are willing to accept the challenge to take their startup to the next level. In order to be eligible for the contest, the startups need to be based -or in process of being based- in one of the four European ecosystems connected by Welcome project.
