Venture Further is the University of Manchester's student business start-up competition. There are four prize categories to enter
Business: Businesses that have commercial potential via new products or services
Social: Businesses that improve the lives of people and communities
Digital: Businesses that apply digital technologies to generate new experiences and innovative business opportunities
Research: Businesses that focus on the application of university-based research to real-world problems and needs typically with some form of intellectual property at the heart of the business
Cash prizes
There are two cash prizes in each category that will go towards developing your business.
- 1st - £10,000
- 2nd - £2,500
What we look for
Your entry needs to be a viable business proposal that has the potential to succeed.
If your entry is successful, you will be asked to pitch your business proposal to a panel of judges for a chance to win one of the cash prizes.
